My first exposure to graphic design was through photojournalism and my involvement with iliad Literary-Art Magazine as their Art Director. Gathering creative writing and arts submissions, I also had the responsibility of creating layouts for the work using Adobe InDesign. From there, I taught myself Adobe Illustrator, which I found allowed me even more creative freedom, as well as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom for my photography. With the exception of a few information sessions and workshops over the years, my knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite has primarily been gained through my own autodidactic practice, with Adobe After Effects being my most recent endeavor. Everyday I find there are new tips and tricks to learn with such complex creative software, and I don't think I will ever stop learning from each.
